Our drones’ tour of the Allier department continues
The “Bourdonner en Bourbonnais” festival took place throughout the summer of 2022 in the Allier department. Allumee participated in several of the scheduled performances. This was a wonderful initiative by the President of the Departmental Council, Claude Riboulet. It was an innovative idea to combine our light-up drones with the pyrotechnics provided by the company Soirs de Fête.
Magic and Excitement in the Skies Over the Allier
It was on Saturday, July 23, around 11 p.m., that Allumee began its unique light drone show over the Sault pond. Two hundred drones danced through the sky as part of the “Bourdonner en Bourbonnais” festival for a good quarter of an hour. Each drone followed a predefined flight path programmed into its GPS. The result was a flawlessly executed light show in the skies above Sault, featuring symbols typical of the department, such as a dragonfly, canoes, the department’s coat of arms, and local historic monuments.
Drones and Fireworks for an Unforgettable Moment
For this summer festival, Allumee partnered with Soirs de fête, experts in pyrotechnics, to offer spectators a one-of-a-kind show. The mission for the two event companies was simple: to dazzle 20,000 spectators!
Seeing judging by the expressions on the faces of young and old alike, it was indeed a successful mission.
We’re always completely focused on our operations when our drones are in flight, but we still keep an eye on our audience. And we could really feel the depth of emotion thanks to the musical score composed specifically for the show.
Congratulations to the Allier for this original and unique show
Allier was the first French department to offer this type of show to its residents and tourists. As experts in the events industry, we can confirm that combining our light-up drones with fireworks was a stroke of genius. We hope to have the opportunity to do this again, and we also hope you’ll be among the future spectators.
