Our drones are coming to Switzerland!

After France’s National Day, Allumee celebrated the occasion in Switzerland. Swiss National Day takes place every August 1, and Allumee was there to celebrate with the people of this beautiful country. The good news is that we’ve obtained flight permits for our drones in Switzerland valid for two years—fantastic!

Between Swiss traditions and light-up drones

Allumee was in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, to celebrate the national holiday. The community wanted to preserve its traditions while innovating with our light drone show. During the day, locals and vacationers could mingle with the musicians, discover a host of surprises at the various stalls of the traditional market, enjoy traditional dishes, or relax on the outdoor terraces. And in the evening, a big surprise!

The drone light show began once night fell, and the Swiss audience thoroughly enjoyed the spectacle of 100 drones in the sky. As usual, Allumee had created a choreographed display accompanied by captivating music—an effective way to captivate the guests.

The Swiss Are Innovating with Drones

The Swiss didn’t want to do what everyone else was doing. To set itself apart, Crans Montana didn’t offer just one show—it offered two! This was a major first for the Allumee team. Producing two performances back-to-back, with barely an hour between them, was quite a challenge and pretty stressful. But, as always, our sound-and-light show went off wonderfully and delighted 3,000 Swiss spectators.

The light shows produced by our drones took place right above Lake Grenon in the Ycoor Gardens. Like France, Switzerland was able to enjoy an environmentally friendly and safe spectacle; in fact, the country, too, had to cancel various fireworks displays due to drought. Our drones successfully replaced the fireworks with flying colors.
