End of 2024 with a show in Serre-Chevalier
Thousands of spectators gathered on December 30, 2024, at the Chantemerle ski resort—specifically at the base of the famous “Luc Alphand” black run, named after the renowned alpine skier and local native—to watch an exclusive drone show. What was the purpose? To make the show just as dazzling as the athlete’s performances during his active career.
Whether or not the goal was achieved (that’s for the audience to decide), the visitors in attendance were treated to a hybrid show featuring custom-designed sets inspired by icons of the famous Alpine resort.
A first in the Southern Alps
Serre-Chevalier Briançon welcomed us shortly before New Year’s to set up and launch 650 drones into the night sky, above the chairlifts overlooking the ski area’s slopes.
Among the customized scenes, viewers were able to spot the Serre-Chevalier logo, as seen previously, as well as a brand-new cable car and the logo for the 2030 Winter Olympics (which, as a reminder, will be held in the French Alps—cocorico). Of course, all of this was in addition to the scenes from our show *Eveil des Lumières*.
