His goal: to leave a lasting impression and honor his contributors with a symbolic drone show that reflects the spirit of the project.
A powerful message, driven by the desire to bring together science, emotion, and appreciation in a unique, celestial production.
ITER: Spotlight on the World’s Largest Scientific Project
Reproducing the Sun’s Energy on Earth
ITER is undoubtedly the world’s largest scientific program.
Its goal: to draw inspiration from how stars work to produce clean, safe, and inexhaustible energy. This large-scale project aims to master nuclear fusion by replicating the reactions taking place at the Sun’s core to offer a sustainable alternative to fossil fuels.This large-scale program brings together 35 countries from around the world, and its massive construction site is located in Saint Paul-lez-Durance (Bouches-du-Rhône).
This major scientific challenge embodies both international cooperation and innovation in the service of the planet.
The IBF25 Forum in Marseille
From April 23 to 25, the Palais des Congrès in Marseille—at Parc Chanot—hosted the ITER Business Forum. This international trade show brings together, every two years, all stakeholders in the global fusion industry supply chain.
It was for this occasion that Allumee was approached, as a company that creates innovative shows. Watch the video of the event here:
The mission: to create a memorable, artistic, and unifying event to celebrate the industry’s progress, while reflecting the values championed by ITER.
An eco-friendly show, just like the ITER project
A light show featuring 500 drones designed by Allumee
In keeping with the theme, the Allumee creative team collaborated with CEA-Agence ITER France to design a custom sound-and-light show for the project.
Starting with the galaxy, followed by the appearance of the Sun; the formation of plasma in the tokamak; a visualization of the ITER member countries on a globe; as well as the “ITER” and “IBF/25” logos.
A poetic and technological journey, illustrating the path from concept to the realization of a new energy era.
A memorable activity for the forum participants
On the evening of April 23, 700 people looked up at the sky to witness this aerial show featuring 500 drones, put on in their honor.
For 10 minutes, the sky over Marseille was transformed to reveal the visual display created by our artists.
A deeply moving moment for everyone working to develop this new energy source.
