Allumee is wrapping up the Lueurs de Mantes event
It was in the heart of the Yvelines department—and more specifically in Mantes-la-Jolie—that Allumee presented an exclusive drone show to bring an exceptional artistic event to a close.
In fact, “Lueurs de Mantes” is a light art trail through the city that traces its cultural heritage, running from mid-December through February 1, accompanied by interactive activities for the general public. And what better way to wrap up an event than with a presentation of innovative new digital art?
So, on February 1, 2025, our 300 drones took to the skies for a 12-minute hybrid show in front of 5,000 residents of Mantes-la-Jolie and tourists gathered along the banks of the Seine, who had come specifically for the event.
A contemplative journey through the universe and life
Among other things, she is the muse of this performance—presented as a mesmerizing and enigmatic narrative with multiple interpretations—and the artistic choice to embrace the abstract. Custom-designed scenes, blending organic and figurative elements and revealing the creation of the universe, the emergence of life, human intervention, and humanity’s impact on nature, were created specifically for this performance. The Phoenix scene—a symbol of rebirth—includes a subliminal message that serves as a nod to the Lueurs de Mantes logo.
The show was set to a soundtrack composed specifically for the event by musician Maxime Olsson. “Noor” creates a mysterious yet rhythmic musical atmosphere, and we synchronized our performance with its beats to create an even more immersive experience for the audience.
For Allumee, this show is particularly innovative: we used highly advanced 3D technology to create an even more immersive experience for the audience. The feedback has been exceptionally positive; based on various comments accompanying photos and videos of the event, the audience left far from disappointed. We would like to thank the city of Mantes-la-Jolie for making it possible to stage this show once again this year as part of the latest edition of its event.
