A special JO show in Châteauroux
May 27, 2024, was the scene of a spectacular event marking the Olympic torch relay in the charming city of Châteauroux, the prefecture of the Indre department.
This event, eagerly anticipated by many residents and visitors, featured a drone show involving 200 drones—orchestrated by our team and themed around the 2024 Olympic Games—as well as a mesmerizing 40-minute pyrotechnic display called “Dragon Time”, presented by Elixir and Soirs de Fête, companies that specialize in this field.

The Olympics Take Center Stage in This Drone Show
The drone show began at dusk, when the sky was bathed in shades of pink and orange, providing the perfect backdrop for the start of the festivities. The Indre Department invited several key players for this special evening: our team, responsible for the drone display, and two companies renowned for their pyrotechnic effects.
Our team deployed 200 drones, each precisely programmed to perform a synchronized aerial ballet specifically dedicated to the 2024 Olympic Games. The drones traced shapes and figures in the sky representing a wide variety of sports and athletes in action, a lightning-fast transition featuring all the flags of the nations participating in this legendary event, and even the iconic Olympic gold medal.
For about twelve minutes, thousands of spectators—young and old alike—were captivated by the dazzling light displays and the seamless transitions between the various aerial scenes.
The Fireworks Display
In addition to our drone show, the pyrotechnics companies Elixir and Soirs de Fête put on an equally spectacular performance called “Dragon Time.”
The fireworks lit up the sky with colorful bursts, adding an extra touch of magic and grandeur to the evening.
This event was not only a visual spectacle, but also a moment of pride and unity for the residents of Châteauroux and spectators who had traveled from far away. The Olympic torch relay is a symbol of peace, solidarity, and hope, and the drone and fireworks display beautifully illustrated these values.
A big thank you to the Indre Department as well as tothe local public institution for agricultural education and vocational training Naturapolis for making this truly spectacular evening possible.
The success of this evening is the result of meticulous preparation and close collaboration among the various technical and artistic teams. We are proud to have contributed to this celebration and to have shared our expertise to deliver an unforgettable show.
