A 500-drone show in Saïx
On May 31, 2025, the Sor and Agout Community of Communes organized a festive day featuring sports, music, camaraderie… and a touch of magic.
A free event that drew more than 5,000 people to the “Les Étangs” Recreation Area in Saïx.
BMX and Trial Competitions in a Festival-Like Atmosphere
The CCSA has partnered with La Bike Academy to organize the French BMX Challenge as part of the Coupe Grand Sud Trial: get ready for some thrills!
In the afternoon, continuing the local sports atmosphere, the Castres vs. Bayonne game was shown on a giant screen, allowing the crowd to celebrate a decisive victory by the Castres team.
In the evening, the audience enjoyed a concert by “The Gartloney Rats,” an Irish pop-rock band based in Toulouse!
For soccer fans, the PSG vs. Milan Champions League final was broadcast… amid great excitement.
The First Drone Show in the Tarn
As night fell, Allumee’s 500 drones took flight over the ponds for a show lasting about ten minutes.
First and foremost, a giant karaoke show came to life in the sky, set to the music of *The Lakes of Connemara*, performed by the Stentors.
In the second half, a series of sports scenes unfolded: sailing, volleyball, BMX, and horseback riding, all set against a well-designed backdrop that paid tribute to the spirit of the venue.
To conclude the show, the flight of the heron—the symbol of the CCSA—and the Community’s logo were depicted.
Allumee, organizer of major local events
Judging by the reactions, this first drone show in the Tarn exceeded all expectations. Allumee is proud to have accomplished its mission:
