A National Day like no other in Megève!

This year, Megève wanted to do something different for the National Holiday on July 14.

This prestigious resort in Haute-Savoie therefore turned to Allumee to wow its summer guests. Megève wanted to maintain its traditional customs for the annual event while also innovating and offering an original show to vacationers and residents of this renowned resort.

Traditions and Innovations in Haute-Savoie

In Megève, it’s customary on July 14 to hold a lantern parade and enjoy the gentle melodies played by the Megève Wind Orchestra. Once again this year, residents and vacationers in the resort were able to enjoy the festivities. However, Megève didn’t want to stop there, so it treated everyone to an eco-friendly and original fireworks display using our light-up drones.

July 13 had arrived. It was show day. Allumee was preparing to present the audience with a 17-minute sound-and-light show featuring 100 drones. For the first time, Allumee had to set up everything needed for the upcoming nighttime show under particularly challenging conditions. The show, held in celebration of National Day, took place on a mountainside.

We carefully prepared our show and adapted it to the setting. The show began after dark in front of 2,500 delighted spectators. This experience at a ski resort was a success, and we’d be happy to do it again in Megève or elsewhere.
