A dramatic turn of events in Allier! Allumee wows the crowd with its light drone show!

As you may have read in our previous articles, Allumee, a company that produces drone shows, was collaborating this summer with Soirs de fête to combine pyrotechnics and light shows using our drones. But there was a dramatic turn of events when all French prefectures decided to ban all fireworks nationwide, effective August 12, 2022. Allumee had to step up!

Allumee makes last-minute adjustments to its drone show

Once again, drought and repeated wildfires led to the cancellation of the fireworks display. Following this announcement by the French prefectures, Allumee had to adapt at the last minute. In fact, the next day, August 13, a drone and fireworks display was scheduled to take place in the town of Pierrefitte-sur-Loire in the Allier department.

Fortunately, this was already our sixth performance in the department as part of the “Bourdonner en Bourbonnais” festival. So, no stress: the Allumee team is sure to come up with a solution! Of course, we had to adapt our light drone show at the last minute. That’s how we were able to offer the audience additional entertainment to make up for the absence of the pyrotechnics.

A drone show that doesn’t disappoint the crowd

Our aerial show went very well despite some unexpected challenges. It lasted 17 minutes, just as planned, and the audience was absolutely thrilled. It was incredibly stressful for us because there were 6,000 spectators in attendance. They left overjoyed to have experienced such a spectacular musical and light show, marveling at our 200 drones as they performed their custom choreography in the sky.

The show took place over the waters of Pierrefitte-sur-Loire, and there’s nothing quite like the reflection of all those glowing drones twirling through the air against a musical backdrop created specifically to captivate the audience. Once again, we demonstrated our expertise and perfect mastery of our high-tech drones by adapting to the very specific circumstances of the moment. So, as you know, no matter the context, Allumee will make your wildest dreams come true!
