Drone Festival in Allier

The Allier department organized the “Bourdonner en Bourbonnais” festival throughout the 2022 summer season. For the occasion, the president of the Departmental Council asked us to participate in this festival by producing a drone show specially choreographed for the event, with performances in various towns.

Our drones kick off the festival in Vieure

Allumee kicks off its summer tour of the Allier department on July 9, 2022, in the town of Vieure. Local authorities have arranged for us to set up around the town’s lake so that our drones can put on a show over the water once night falls.

This first show in the Allier department is an opportunity for us to collaborate with Soirs de Fête, experts in pyrotechnics, to offer the audience an extraordinary spectacle combining the magic of light-up drones with traditional fireworks. Our 200 drones wowed audiences of all ages for 17 minutes in the sky.

To be honest, we were expecting around 1,500 spectators; but no fewer than 3,500 people turned out around the Vieure lake.

Drones and Fireworks: A First for Allumee

Not only was this our first drone show at the Bourbonnais festival, but this performance—combined with pyrotechnics—turned out to be much more technically challenging than usual. This was a major source of additional stress for the Allumee team. Fortunately, the weather and the skies over the Allier provided ideal conditions for our drones to take to the air, and everything went wonderfully well.

The Allier department was proudly represented in the sky by elements typical of the region, thanks to a custom design created by the Allumee team. We are very proud to have brought to life the Allier Departmental Council’s project, which aimed to demonstrate that just because you live in the countryside doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the latest technologies.

Our drones bring you magic

This type of drone show in France requires about a month and a half of preparation. Each project is unique and carefully planned down to the smallest detail based on your requests and expectations. It gives us great satisfaction to see the final result and the audience’s sense of wonder during each of our light drone shows.

Allumee’s finishing touch: creating a musical composition specifically for each occasion. The music plays a key role in the emotion that fills the crowd during every performance.

Allumee was therefore very proud of the performance we put on in collaboration with the pyrotechnics team that evening. It was truly one of our greatest successes, no doubt thanks to an innovative idea that was out of the ordinary and that we managed to bring to life brilliantly.
