Allumee Celebrates Switzerland for the Second Time
Allumee is celebrating Switzerland for the second time!
As we mentioned in a previous article, Switzerland celebrates its National Day on August 1. Following the festivities in Crans-Montana the day before, Allumee, a drone show company, was on hand on the big day in Portalban (across from Neuchâtel). Right above the harbor, Allumee once again delighted Swiss residents and tourists alike on the occasion of this major national event.
200 drones replace the traditional fireworks display
This year, fireworks were banned in many places due to the summer drought. That’s why the town of Portalban turned to Allumee to put on a spectacular show for residents during the town festival. 3,400 spectators were amazed by the wonderful aerial display created by our light-up drones.
This choice was a good option for the town, which was hosting this type of show for the first time: it was sure to attract even more tourists, especially since their numbers have been steadily increasing year after year, at least in theory. So, at 10 p.m., after a countdown that the audience enjoyed, our 200 drones took off in a never-before-seen aerial ballet.
A successful show
The feedback from the audience members in attendance was overwhelmingly positive, and we were truly delighted to see them so enchanted by a show described as innovative. In fact, the most notable positive aspects of our shows are:
- A show with a difference;
- An innovative show;
- A customizable presentation available upon request;
- No fire hazard;
- No noise (except for some enchanting music that everyone enjoys!).
Although it’s much more expensive than a traditional fireworks display (want more details? Find out how much a drone show costs), we can’t help but highlight the strengths of this type of show. And that’s not even counting the public’s enthusiasm and how appealing it is to tourists. Especially since the light beams from our drones are visible from up to 8 km away! That’s pretty impressive for the surrounding area, isn’t it?
