The city of Lyon lights up thanks to our light-up drones

Summer promises to be a very busy time for Allumee, and the whole team is thrilled to kick off the summer season. Allumee is kicking off its drone shows in the Île-de-France region with its first show in the town of Marly-le-Roi. The first drone show will take place on June 25, 2022, above the Grand Miroir pond in Parc Royal.

Our first show of summer 2022

It took us a few hours of intense focus to get everything ready. The show starts at 11 p.m., and everything has to be perfect. We can’t wait to see it and, above all, to share this production with the audience. At the same time, even though this isn’t our first drone show, we’re a little nervous. This summer performance is the first of the season and will set the stage for the rest of it. Can you imagine what this might be like?

The stage design for this show was conceived around 100 drones that were set to twirl in unison for 17 minutes. To make this happen, the entire Allumee team put in a tremendous amount of work behind the scenes. So seeing those 2,000 spectators—amazed, happy, and surprised (in a good way!) all at once—was a wonderful reward for all of us!

Let’s wish Parisians a wonderful summer with the help of drones

The show went off without a hitch, much to the delight of everyone involved. And we’d planned to end it with a little message projected live into the Parisian sky: “Have a great summer,” along with the town’s name. The result: guaranteed satisfaction for everyone—the local government, the audience, and the performers. Of course, at that moment, we could think of only one thing: doing it all over again. So, thank you to the city of Marly-le-Roi for placing its trust in us.
